Lamu - Heavily armed Al Shabaab suspects struck Pandaguo village in Lamu Sunday morning, killing three people and leaving scores injured.
It is alleged that one of the casualties was burnt to death when the militants set his house ablaze.
Daily Nation reports that another was shot dead on a Mkoma tree while tapping wine while the third was beheaded.
However, it is suspected the toll could rise as some bodies have not yet been retrieved.
According to Standard, police in the area are already conducting search for the attackers.
Last month, a beekeeper who had gone to harvest honey in Boni Forest bumped into six armed Al Shabaab terrorists who harassed him and threatened to kidnap him.
The incident happened about two kilometers from Pandaguo village.
