01 March 2016, 08:05 PSCU

Nairobi - The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has assured locals and visitors that all the airports and airstrips are safe.

KAA acting Managing Director Yatich Kangugo said there were no security threats at airports, adding that the memo to all managers was just a precautionary measure that was released before verification by the National Security Aviation Committee and other security organs.

“We therefore wish to assure our citizens and all airport users that KAA airports and designated airstrips are not under any imminent threat. I want to report that normal operations are ongoing,” he assured.
