Woman charged with stealing Raila's bodyguard gun

Kisumu - Daily Nation reports a woman was on Tuesday charged with stealing a pistol and cash from a police officer who was on duty as a security escort to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Maurine Adhiambo appeared before senior Principal Magistrate Samuel Atonga to answer three counts of theft.
The counts include stealing a government-issued Ceska pistol valued at KES 150,000 from Edwin Okinda, 15 nine-millimetre bullets from the said officer and the theft of the officer’s KES 23,000 cash.
