Nairobi - Some of the looted electronics which are suspected to have been stolen from Westgate mall at the height of the terrorists attack, may have been recovered in Gilgil by police.
Confirming the recovery to The Standard, Gilgil OCPD Serah Koki said that they are investigating the matter of how a phone dealer in the remote area came upon and stocked the seven high-tech mobile phones, as the dealer denied knowledge of who left him the phones.
The police also said that Gilgil town is home to hundreds of soldiers from different units some of whom were involved in the rescue operations, although they denied the allegations that two soldiers had been arrested.
