Warning issued over increase in counterfeits

Nairobi - The Star reports Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has warned that circulation of counterfeits and substandard goods in various parts of the country has increased.
According to KEBS North Rift Manager Samwel Ogidi, they have already impounded some fake goods including detergents, pens, skin care products and alcoholic drinks from shops in different towns.
Consumers have been asked to be wary of firms or traders who sell some of the banned products.
