26 April 2012, 09:24
Nairobi - Capital News reports that Justice National Cohesion and Constitutional Affairs Minister Eugene Wamalwa on Wednesday lauded the Judges and Magistrates Vetting Board for taking a major step after they dismissed Court of Appeal Judges Riaga Omolo, Samuel Bosire, Emmanuel O’Kubasu and Joseph Nyamu.
Wamalwa said that it was important that Kenyans understand that the reform process will step on many toes in its quest to have public institutions enjoy the confidence of all Kenyans.
The minister went on to add that the move was yet another step the government has taken to restore public confidence in a key institution, and that the vetting process will spread out to other top government officers including the Executive.
