Nairobi - Hate speech case against former Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu may be withdrawn if he apologises to the Maasai community.
Director of Public Prosecution Keriako Tobiko (DPP), wants the former MP to apologise before the case is withdrawn, reports Daily Nation.
Through his lawyer, Waititu told a court that he had met with the Maasai elders over the matter and that he plans to make a public apology.
