Naivasha - Police imposter Joshua Waiganjo has alleged that he was offered KES 30 million to frame President Uhuru Kenyatta in the cases at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Speaking on Thursday when he was releasing a chapter of his book at Naivasha law courts, Waiganjo said the offer was meant to link President Kenyatta to the use of guns during the violence that rocked the country after the disputed elections in 2007, The Star reports.
He said the request came during the March 4 polls campaigns and if he would have agreed then he together with his family would have been offered asylum in the Netherlands.
