Nairobi - Transport Cabinet Secretary, Michael Kamau, has ruled out the possibility of reintroducing the famous Michuki laws to reduce road carnage and deal with the offenders of traffic laws on roads.
According to Kamau, the rules cannot be brought back as they are since they would hamper the plans they have which include allowing passengers to stand in buses, Daily Nation reports.
He said the introduction of buses with standing passengers will ease traffic congestion in the city, and the Michuki laws cannot apply here since they require every passenger to be seated and put on a safety belt.
