Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta will address the ongoing problems in Makueni County when he visits the area Friday.
The president will visit Makueni and also inspect the trial section of the Standard
Gauge Railway at the Mtito Andei construction site.
Later, the President
will address a public rally at the Kenya Wildlife Service KWS Camp at
Mtito Andei, where he is expected to speak on the problems affecting the County.
Makueni is set for dissolution after the County government led by Governor Kivutha Kibwana and the County Assembly failed to agree on a working formula.
The County Assembly has already impeached Kibwana and signatures have already been collected by the government to allow for the County government to be dissolved.
