Naivasha - President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to visit residents of Narasha village in Naivasha on Thursday afternoon, following a land conflict that was triggered by forceful evictions.
During his visit, the President will hold a public rally at Narasha Primary School grounds at 1pm and will be accompanied by Nakuru and Narok County leaders in a bid to calm tension in the area, The Standard reports.
Volence had rocked the area after hired youth in the company of Administration Police Officers went on a rampage and demolished houses leading to senior government officers fleeing the area for safety after angry Narasha residents attacked them, damaging vehicles on Sunday.
