Nairobi - The US is considering relocating some of the embassy staff to other countries due to increased terror threats in the country.
This comes a few days after gunmen raided Mpeketoni and Poromoko towns in Lamu, killing over 60 people.
The attacks have also seen the US issue a new travel recommendation cautioning its citizens against visiting the Coastal region.
According to The Standard, the US ambassador to Kenya, Robert Godec has written a letter requesting for more security.
