US military assist Kenya in fire probe

Nairobi - The US State Department has said that two US military fire experts have arrived in Kenya to assist in investigations of the fire at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
In a brief to Daily Nation, a spokeswoman at the State Department said that America was also providing immigration equipment to help restore regular international service at JKIA.
She went on to add that US embassy in Nairobi had sent some of their staff to JKIA to assist Kenyan authorities with preliminary investigations into the causes of the fire, although she did not comment on the participation of the FBI in the investigations.
