Traffic police blamed for Rioma School bus accident that claimed 18 lives

Kisii - Subsequent to an investigation by the traffic ombudsman , it has emerged that traffic police officers were at fault for the catastrophic accident involving the Rioma school bus, Standard Digital reports.
The report that was conducted has found that the bus was overloaded, but that the vehicle was speeding when the driver, James Mariera lost control of the bus. 12 students and four teachers were killed when the bus plowed into a ravine in July of this year.
It has also emerged, via the investigation that the Mariera, did not have the proper licence to operate the bus.
