Traditional beer linked to cancer

Kakamega - Busaa, a traditional beer that is popularly known
in the rural outskirts of the country has been linked to oesophagal cancer, Daily
Researchers from universities in and outside of the country have conducted
extensive research on the home brewed beer, stating that the maize which is
made from has been found to be rotten and that causes it to be toxic.
Multiple Mycotoxins have been found to live in the home-made brew and that
alone can have very serious results concerning to health.
Many people drink it at traditional ceremonies such as weddings and funerals.
The researchers have stated, for precautionary measures the home-made brew
needs to be tested and should be cleaned using ground maize.
