Thugs shoot Amnesty International Kenya director

Nairobi - Amnesty International country director Justus Nyang’aya, was attacked and injured by suspected armed robbers in his home in Rongai, Nairobi on Wednesday morning.
Police say the thugs broke into Nyang’aya’s residence, stole cash and other valuables from the family, before shooting him three thrice, Daily Nation reports.
According to Nairobi County police commander, Benson Kibue, Nyang’aya is in a stable condition after he was admitted to a hospital.
He said no suspect has been arrested in connection to the crime and that investigations are underway.
