Nairobi - All graduates seeking employment to be hired as teachers by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) must have attained a minimum C+ grade in their Form Four examination.
The Standard reports that TSC Secretary Gabriel Lengoiboni told Senators that the move an attempt to stop to the practice where untrained teachers go back to school to get a degree and then a Masters, without having the minimum qualifications to join the university.
Lengoiboni added that the Government has set C+ as the minimum grade for one to join university, and if one wants to teach and did not pass they will not be employed unless they go back and resit their KCSE exams.
