Squatters in Mau Forest ordered to vacate

Narok - The Standard reports squatters who have invaded a section of the 146, 800 hectare Maasai Mau Forest have been ordered to vacate.
According to Narok South DC Chimwaga Mongo, new setters who have invaded a section of the forest that is under the Kenya Forest Service (KFS) should move out or be forcefully evicted.
He ordered squatters who have settled in Olpusimoru Forest Reserve which is a Government gazetted forest in the section of Maasai Mau to demolish their structures, uproot their crops, remove their livestock and move out before they are evicted.
