Spaniard nabbed with KES 41 m cocaine in Nairobi

Nairobi – A Spanish national is being held at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport after he was allegedly found with 10.4 kilograms of cocaine worth KES 41.7 million, police said.
Police at the airport said the Spanish man had travelled from Sao Paulo in Brazil to Nairobi’s JKIA where he was picked up by detectives on arrival.
“He was arrested during the screening point.
His luggage was found with 10.4 kilograms of cocaine,” airport CID chief Joseph Ngisa said, adding “he will be taken to court.” He was arrested on Saturday.
