Nairobi - There are reports that some employers have denied their workers off on Monday so they can vote in the General Elections, The Standard reports.
The Central Organization of Trade Union ( COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli condemned the move and said they had received several complaints from workers on Saturday morning.
In a press statement sent to newsrooms, Atwoli said the most affected were those working in Flower farms in Naivasha, private security sector across the country and in Sugar Plantation farms in Muhoroni and Miwani.
