Nairobi - A tribunal has been set up to investigate six members of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) for alleged misconduct.
Parliament’s Justice and Legal Affairs Committee had asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to set up the tribunal to investigate the six commissioners who are accused of breaching the law, The Standard reports.
The fate of the six commissioners; Ahmednasir Abdullahi, Samuel Kobia, Christine Mango, Mohammed Warsame, Emily Ominde, and Florence Mwangangi will now be determined by the tribunal.
JSC has been on the spotlight since the sacking of Chief Registrar of the Judiciary, Gladys Shollei, for alleged fraud.
However, Shollei exonerated herself from the claims and accused three JSC commissioners of being behind the plot to have her sacked.
