Senate set to vote on ICC pull out motion

Nairobi - Senators are planning to vote on the decision to have Kenya withdrawn from the Rome Statute.
According to Senate Majority Leader Kithure Kindiki, they will meet on Tuesday to complete what Parliament started to ensure that Kenya gets out of the statute that established the International Criminal Court (ICC), The Standard reports.
After approving the Motion, the Senate will write to ICC President Justice Sang-Hyun Song, requesting him to reschedule the hearing dates of the Kenyan cases and also drop the cases.
