Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto's lead counsel Karim Khan has said that he will not apologize to Principal Secretary Mutea Iringo over comments made at the International Criminal Court regarding the DP's alleged fixing by the central government to the ICC, reports the Daily Nation.
Khan's team had accused some elements in the Kenyan government including Iringo of allegedly fixing Ruto to be charged for crimes against humanity and other charges.
The queen's counsel argued that it was the right of he and his team to defend Mr Ruto at whatever coast even if it meant rubbing some people the wrong way, as reported by the Daily Nation.
The response came after Mr Iringo had written to lawyers representing Mr Ruto to protest the allegations that he 'fixed" the DP to face trial at the ICC.
