Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto has urged the International Criminal Court (ICC) to conduct his trial in the open so that his mother can be able to follow.
Speaking on behalf of Ruto, Capital News reports, Counsel Karim Khan argued that this would help his client reassure his mother that the charges pressed against him are false.
This was seconded by Joshua arap Sang’s lawyer who argued that directing witnesses to testify in private was causing his client psychological trauma.
