Ruto travels to The Hague

Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto has flown out of the country to The Hague to attend the start of his trial at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Ruto boarded a Dutch airline that departed Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Monday morning, Daily Nation reports.
Majority Leader in Parliament Aden Duale and his counterpart in Senate Kindiki Kithure were among those who traveled with Ruto.
Top government officers, among them Cabinet Secretaries were at the airport to see him off.
