Ruto, Sang ICC case postponed
08 January 2014, 10:19
Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto and former radio presenter, Joshua arap Sang case at the International Criminal Court (ICC) has been rescheduled.
According to Sang’s lead Counsel Katwa Kigen, the case is expected to resume on Thursday next week and not Monday as it had been scheduled earlier, The Standard reports.
However, Kigen did not give reasons as to why the case had been postponed but sources indicated that it was due to a witness hitch.
The delay of the arrival of witnesses at The Hague based court also forced the adjournment of the date for the beginning of the trial in September 2013.
