Protests build up against hefty MP's bonuses

Nairobi - Demonstrators marched in Nairobi, protesting against the proposed hefty bonus that the Members of Parliament set aside for themselves, Daily Nation reports.
Marching through the streets of Nairobi, demonstrators said it was simply unfair for ministers to award themselves this kind of money, which amounts to KES 2 billion.
According to the report, Kenyan lawmakers are apparently some of the highest paid in Africa.
