Process of vetting Cabinet nominees to start

Nairobi - The process of vetting the Cabinet nominees will begin today while Parliament is still receiving views on the nominees from the public.

A parliamentary committee will be tasked with reviewing the 16 Cabinet nominees and is set to begin its work on Monday, Daily Nation reports.

On Thursday public vetting will be conducted at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi.

Nominees scheduled for vetting on Thursday are Anne Waiguru (Devolution & Planning), Raychelle Omamo (Defence), Amina Mohammed (Foreign Affairs), Jacob Kaimenyi (Education, Science and Technology) and Henry Rotich (National Treasury).
