Nairobi - The Voi–Taveta–Tanzania road has received a much-needed upgrade after the African Development Bank (AfDB) dedicated funds towards the project, reports the Nation.
President Uhuru Kenyatta was grateful to the AfDB, which was set up in 1964 to contribute to the economic development and social progress of African countries.
The AfDB also contributed funds towards the upgrading of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. On the 7th of August this year, the airport was the scene of a terrible fire, which ravaged the immigration area before spreading to other areas of the airport.
