Police reform process begins

Nairobi - The committees that will undertake the police reform process in a bid to change the face of the police have been launched, Capital News reports.
Speaking at the launch, Inspector General David Kimaiyo on Tuesday noted that the committees were established so to assist the force and give officers a chance to be responsible for various branches and also give ultimate and best service to the country as each department is given attention.
Kimaiyo added that the committees will ensure that they put the framework of the reforms in police and also monitor that each branch of the police is pulling its weight when it comes to the reforms.
