Police not convinced Nairobi pastor attacked

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 30 – Nairobi police on Monday poked holes into allegations by a preacher who had claimed that gunmen had sprayed his moving car with bullets on Saturday.
Provincial police boss Anthony Kibuchi said preliminary investigations showed that the incident was most likely stage-managed as the bullet marks show that the vehicle must have been stationary rather than in motion as pastor Michael Njoroge of the Fire Gospel Ministries had reported.
Njoroge was disarmed on Sunday after police poked holes into his claims that his vehicle was sprayed with bullets in Embakasi on Saturday.
