Police investigate murder of Guinean drug trafficker in Nairobi

Nairobi - Police are investigating the mysterious death of Komani Camara, a suspect who had been deported to Guinea on suspicion that he was a drug trafficker but sneaked back into the country.
Camara’s body was found on Saturday with gunshot wounds on the head along Cemetery Road near Jamhuri Park in Nairobi, The Standard reports.
Police reports indicate that Camara was among the 90 drug trafficking suspects who were deported in June last year, following President Uhuru Kenyatta’s order to have all drug traffickers deported back to their countries.
He was re-arrested in February upon his return to the country in unclear circumstances but was set free by a court after the government failed to prove that he was deported.
