Nairobi - Police arrested more than 500 people in Nairobi on Tuesday night, in an operation carried out to tame the rising cases of crime in the city.
According to Nairobi police boss Benson Kibue, the operation was carried out in estates and city streets amid terror threats in the country, The Standard reports.
He said they were being questioned to determine whether they are culprits.
The government ordered all refugees to relocate to camps as the reaction to increasing terror attacks in the country intensifies.
Interior security Cabinet Secretary Joseph Ole Lenku Tuesday evening ordered all refugees relocated to either the Daadab or Kakuma camps or risk arrest.
The move is aimed at stopping the increased number of terror attacks in the country following increased movement of terrorists in recent months.
