Nairobi - It seems the woes for embattled Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Gladys Shollei are far from over as it has been revealed that a new plan has been hatched by Chief Justice Willy Mutunga to remove her from office, in a bid to assert his powers in the judiciary.
According to Capital News, Shollei is now demanding a public inquiry, which will have individuals from the Auditor General’s office, the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission and the Public Procurement Oversight Authority office, to look into all the accusations levelled against her.
Shollei has also reccomends that Mutunga, Duncan Okello, Kwamchetsi Makhoha, Justice Joel Ngugi, Kennedy Bidali and Dennis Kabaara, whom she accuses of inciting the JSC against her should be investigated too.
