Plane goes missing with three on board

Murang'a - A massive search and rescue operation has been launched for an aircraft, which disappeared from the radar on Thursday night with three passengers on board at Kahuro in Murang’a.
Several policemen and volunteers are combing the expansive Aberdare Forest for the Cessna 206 registration number 5y BUG that was headed to Wilson Airport from Nanyuki, The Standard reports.
According to Jammie Roberts, a director of Tropic Air, which donated a helicopter to carry out the rescue mission, said the plane was flying from Lentille Airstrip in Laikipia to Wilson Airport.
