Petition to stop vote count thrown out

Nairobi - The Standard reports a case filed to stop the tallying of votes from the presidential election has been struck out by High Court.
High Court judges held they have no jurisdiction to entertain a case on presidential elections saying only the supreme court can deal with it.
Africa Centre for Open Governance had filed a petition at the High Court in Nairobi (Africog) seeking to stop the tallying of the presidential votes which is nearing the end at the Bomas of Kenya.
