PEV victims yet to get assistance from ICC
26 October 2014, 09:58
Nairobi - Civil Society Organizations in Kenya are blaming the International Criminal Court for delayed assistance to victims of the violence that rocked the country after the 2007/8 General Elections.
The organizations said they wrote to the director of the ICC’s Trust Fund for Victims (TFV) in June and informed him of the victims’ plight, but he has not taken any step since then, The Standard reports.
They claim that the TFV has decided to discriminate against the Kenyan victims by saying that it is unsafe to operate in Kenya yet they are a neutral party.

They said that is a lame excuse because other organs of the ICC are operating in Kenya.
