Owner of Pangani blast vehicle released on KES 8M bail

Nairobi - A Nairobi court yesterday released the owner of a car that blew up at Pangani police station killing two police officers and two suspected terrorists on KES 8 million cash bail.
Ahmed Dugal Ali was accused of offering shelter to one of the attackers and providing them with the vehicle that used to carry out the terror attack on April 23, 2014, Daily Nation reports.
According to security details, Interior Security Cabinet Secretary Joseph Ole Lenku and Inspector General of police, David Kimaiyo were the targets of the attack.
They two were scheduled to attend a live talk show on the security operation that was being carried out in Eastleigh, a few kilometres from the place of the incident.
