Nairobi - Olive Telecommunications has gone to court to challenge the cancellation of the KES 24.6 laptops supply tender.
The tender had been awarded to the company by the Ministry of Education but was later cancelled by the public procurement review board on grounds that the firm did not have the capability to deliver on the tender when it was awarded, Daily Nation reports.
Education Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi said that he will not resign over the revocation of the tender.
The ministry had been given 45 days to re-tender the deal, the Jubilee governments flagship project.
