Ojodeh family row stalls KES20m payout

Nairobi - Acccording to Daily Nation reports, a family row over the estate of former Internal Security minister Orwa Ojodeh is hindering the disbursement of KES 20 million by House Speaker Kenneth Marende.
The Speaker said he had received a letter from Ojodeh’s brother asking him to withhold payment of the insurance claims, as a decision had not been made following the receipt of the letter on Monday.
However, Marende said that the payment would be made to the rightful beneficiaries in line with the provisions of the law.
