#OccupyPlayGround protest turns chaotic

Nairobi - Chaos erupted at Langata Primary School as anti-riot police fired tear gas at pupils and activists who were demonstrating over the grabbing of the school’s playground by a private developer.
The protest dubbed #OccupyPlayGround was planned by activist Boniface Mwangi and Kibra MP Ken Okoth to reclaim the playground from the private developer, The Standard reported.
A perimeter wall built on the disputed land was pulled down by the protesters as the pupils gained entry into the playground.
Unconfirmed reports indicated that at least three children were hurt in the chaos
