Nyamu fights ejection from the Judiciary

Nairobi - Justice Joseph Nyamu on Thursday became the third appellate judge to fight back after being rendered unfit to serve in the Judiciary by the Judges and Magistrates Vetting Board.
In an application by his advocates, Nyamu asked the board to reconsider its verdict to sack him last week and requested for a review of the said decision of the Board, Capital News reports.
They complained that the board failed to adhere to the guidelines set out by the Vetting of Judges and Magistrates Act that it should be confined to ‘principles and standards of judicial independence, natural justice and international best practices.’
