No funds to counties without budgets

Nairobi - The Standard reports counties that do not have budgets that have been approved by county assemblies will not be funded by the government.
According to the Controller of Budget
Agnes Odhiambo, most counties have allocated excessive funds to irrelevant activities, and her office will be forced to investigate such spending.
She said that the the law requires that the budget estimates be passed by 30th June every year.
