Neurologist says vasectomy is safe

Nairobi - A neurologist has urged Kenyans to exercise vasectomy in order to enhance family planning.
Peter Ngugi said that the procedure did not interfere with normal functioning of the body and assured that individuals would not experience ay changes in their sex lives.
“It (vasectomy) does not affect your performance because the testosterone production will continue because that is what determines a man’s libido. This has been observed from a man who has had a vasectomy,” said Ngugi.
Many adults have reportedly been avoiding the procedure for fear that it might interfere with their sex life a move that might lead to marriage collapse or infidelity.
Men have reportedly abandoned the role of family planning to women and a good number of them did not even participate in the family planning talks with their spouses.
The government has in the past tried to make family planning a concern of both men and women but with little success.
