Mutunga appoints bench to decide Justice Mutava's fate

Nairobi - Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has appointed a bench of three judges to determine the fate of Justice Joseph Mutava, who was suspended over his handling of Kamlesh Pattni’s cases.
The three judges Mumbi Ngugi, Pauline Nyamweya and George Odunga will determine Justice Mutava’s petition challenging his suspension and also wants investigations into his conduct by a tribunal that was appointed by President Kenyatta stopped, Daily Nation reports.
Justice Mutava acquitted Kamlesh Pattni, who was the main suspect in the Goldenberg scandal that saw the government lose billions of shillings.
