Muthama released on KES 100 000 cash bail for inciting Kenyans

Nairobi - Machakos Senator, Johnson Muthama has been released on cash bail of KES 100 000 for inciting Kenyans during the September’s CORD rally.
Muthama was found guilty of encouraging the stoning of Kenyans during the rally.
Activist Japheth Muroko, alias Japhet Thuranira was also charged for inciting the lynching of MPs during the same rally.
The duo made the remarks on September 23 when opposition CORD coalition held a rally at Uhuru Park to show their solidarity with teachers in their push for more pay.
The case will be heard on February 16, Daily Nation reports
