Nairobi - Renewed attacks in Mandera County have left five more people dead and an unknown number of livestock missing.
Area MCA, Issack Abdi Hassan, reported that armed men ambushed residents of Gare village Tuesday where they shot dead three people and stole an unknown number of livestock.
Several other people are nursing the gunshot wounds they sustained in the attack at the Tabaka sub-county hospital.
These attacks come only a few days after the same group of raiders killed two people at Tabaka village.
Daily Nation reports that the Mandera tribal clashes have so far claimed 20 lives in a span of two weeks.
