Medical staffs join in city workers' strike

Nairobi - Patients at the Pumwani Maternity Hospital were on Friday transferred to other hospitals following the immediate closure of the medical facility.
Clinical officers and nurses at the hospital joined in the ongoing County Council workers strike over salary arrears, Daily Nation reports.
An average of 55 mothers deliver at Pumwani Maternity Hospital daily, which is the largest of its kind in East and Central Africa.
