Three Kenyans tortured during the 1950s Mau Mau uprising await a court ruling that will decide whether they can take the British government to court, the BBC reports.
The British government claims all liabilities were handed over to the Kenyan Republic after independence, and cannot be held accountable now.
The hearing will have access to over 8 800 secret files from that era.
