Makutani village under siege, houses torched

Baringo - Cattle rustlers have ambushed Baringo county Wednesday night where they torched several houses and stole over 15 000 heads of cattle.
The Standard reports that residents have fled their homes for safety, with further reports indicating that four people have lost their lives in the raid.
According to sources, the attackers have laid siege to Makutani village and burnt houses across 10 other villages in the County.
The Baringo County Police Commander, Hassan Barua has however confirmed that police officers have been dispatched to the area to deal with the situation, Daily Nation reports.
